Don’t we all want nice clean shiny healthy gums, teeth and tongue? When our breath smells bad its also an indication of something going wrong in our organs too!

What to consume less of: 

  • Sticky candies and sweets 
  • Soft drinks / sports drinks 
  • Dried fruits 
  • Coffee / alcohol
  • Acidic food
  • Popcorn
  • Chewable pills 

What to do: 

  • Brush your teeth 2-3 times a day (but wait 30 minutes to brush after eating acidic foods) 
  • Floss once a day 
  • Consume foods with fluoride
  • Drinks lots of water 
  • Drink detoxing teas (suppresses bacteria) 
  • Eat green veggies to neutralise the acid on your teeth 
  • Sugarless/natural chewing gum to help generate more saliva
  • Eat more raw nuts 
  • More calcium rich foods
