RAW ORGANIC MOONCAKES // MOON FESTIVAL // GREEN VITAMIN

Hey Friends,

The time of the year has come again for us to celebrate the Moon Festival or also known as the Mid-Autumn festival. A huge part of the festival is based around food especially on the lucky and uniting MOONCAKES. You may have seen lots of people buying them for the festival which will fall on September 27 this year.

These beautiful cakes are Raw Vegan and Organic and made from natural ingredients: (varied between mooncake) coconut flakes, coconut butter, maple syrup, himalayan crystal salt, vanilla essence, almond & flour, cinnamon, Ecuadorian cocoa powder, coconut milk, strawberry and beetroot. Full Ingredients listed on their website (linked below)
Sadly enough, I have not been able to eat moon cakes as they are made with egg, wheat flour and also loaded with high sugar around 45g of fat and have an average calorie of 800 each moon cake.

Luckily enough I came across Green Vitamin, they presented me with six beautiful RAW ORGANIC (gluten free, vegan) COCONUT MOONCAKES which are beautifully hand made and crafted, I could eat them all! I did have a great tasting session with a friend and I came to my conclusion that my favourite is the obviously the cinnamon one. They have a very natural taste to them, slightly sweet and very texturised. Each one is very different – just like a pick and mix chocolate box!

“DEHYDRATED UNDER 46ºC TO KEEP BENEFITS OF THE ENZYMES AND NUTRIENTS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.”

Check out their products, they are sold all over town, Get your mooncakes before the festival and stayed tuned for further reviews! http://www.greenvitamin.hk/where-to-buy/

That’s all friends
