Homemade roasted garlic oil

I love oils that are already infused with lots of flavours. You can find them at restaurants or in the supermakets along with a hefty price tag. So why not make your own? 

Garlic olive oil: 

I simply love garlic so I just wanted to add one type of ingredients into my oil so I can use it various cuisines. 

    
Ingredients and method: 

  • 2 whole bulbs of garlic 
  • Put one whole bulb into a preheated oven at 180°c for 50 minutes – Coated with olive oil
  • At around 40 minutes Slice the other garlic bulb raw and add into the bottle 
  • Once the grilled garlic is cooled- slice off the bottom and squeeze out the cloves – add into the bottle 
  • Fill the bottle up with your choice of healthy oil to the neck, give it a good shake and leave it at room temperature to use as you wish   

  
Options: you can also add in chillies, dried rosemary, lemon rinds or even whole black pepper.
