Black olive vegan dip // spread 

I love making my own dips as you may have seen from my previous recipes posted. This dip has a deep smoky flavour, it’s also very nutritious and very quick to make.

Nutritional Facts of Olives:

  • High in antioxidants 
  • Helps decrease body pain 
  • Lowers bad cholesterol 
  • Great source of iron 
  • Can help with healing food allergies
  • Cardio health 
  • Great for digestion 
  • Cancer prevention 

 

What you need: 

  • 200g Black pitted olives
  • 1/2 tbsp Organic tahini paste 
  • 1-2 cloves Raw garlic
  • Sprinkle of Sea kelp seasoning // salt & pepper
  • 1/2 Lemon juice 
  • One can Canellini beans (optional) 
  • Fresh coriander (topping) 

Method: 

  • Add all the above ingredients into a high speed blender 
  • Blend and pulse for around a minute
  • Transfer into a container and place in the fridge to cool then top with fresh coridander
  • Enjoy with your favourite dipping foods or use as a paste  

*This dip is self preserving because of the raw garlic and lemon juice, it will last for around 3 days in the fridge
