Fast weeknight – lentil and quinoa patty

A healthy and fast weeknight dinner that’s super tasty too!


  • Cooked quinoa
  • Cooked black lentils
  • Chopped coriander & garlic
  • Chia or flaxx egg
  • Salt, pepper, paprika
  • Chopped peppers (optional)
  • Olive oil / Sacha Inchi Oil
  • Romaine lettuce


  • Mix equal parts quinoa and  black lentils (you can also buy them ready made) if not cook according to packaging
  • Soak chia seeds in water (5-10 minutes) till a gel is formed
  • Add in the remaining ingredients, (quantity measured by preference) into a large bowl and mix well with the chia egg
  • Heat a frying pan with your oil of choice and carefully roll the mixture into small balls with then flatten once in the pan
  • Fry for 3-5 minutes – flip half way
  • Place into lettuce or bun and enjoy as a burger
