Spaghetti Vongole (gluten, dairy, egg and nut free)

One of my favourite recipes, using all natural ingredients. It’s fast and delicious – great for a weeknight dinner or weekend lunch.

Ready in: 30 Minutes

A few nutritional benefits of Clams:

  • They have more iron than beef
  • High amounts of omega 3 fatty acids
  • More protein than chicken
  • High in selenium, manganese, vitamin C, B 12

Ingredients: (quantities depend on amounts needed to be made)

  • Fresh de-shelled clams
  • Organic Gluten free spaghetti (I used sprouted quinoa)
  • Fresh minced garlic
  • Fresh chopped coriander
  • Sea salt, cracked pepper, nutritional yeast (1TBSP)
  • Good quality extra virgin olive oil
  • Dry white wine (optional) 


  • Boil the spaghetti according to the packaging – cook till al-dente
  • Drain and set aside
  • Fry the clams in olive oil salt, pepper and minced garlic
  • Once browned add in the chopped coriander, cooked pasta and nutritional yeast
  • Add in some white wine here
  • Drizzle on some olive oil and fresh coriander on before serving
